I’ve just got back from a wonderful trip to Dubai and I’m feeling revived and refreshed, thank you Lord! It was a remarkable trip full of fun activities and learning new things.
In today’s blog post, I want to give you tips on how you can be happier and more joyful in your life. If you sometimes struggle to smile, if you often feel constantly anxious and uneasy or if you often feel stressed out and unable to enjoy your life then this blog post is for you:

1) Do something new:
Perhaps it’s time for you to try something new to bring back that bounce in your life. Try eating at a new restaurant, drive a different way home, change your fitness routine, visit a new city, visit a new country, socialise more. Doing the same old thing is often what makes us become unhappy so you need to shake up your routine now and then to make your life more exciting and less rigid.
2) Socialise and network:
Every once in a while go out and have fun! I love to go to prestigious events such as seminars, conferences, gala nights, weddings, social gatherings, award shows, church events and shows. There is nothing more fun than dressing up and going to great events. I also like going to places such as aquariums, museums, shopping, bowling, swimming and badminton. Where could you go to socialise and network? Write a list of a few places that you could attend over the next few months. Going out and enjoying yourself now and then will really lift your spirits and give you that joyful happy feeling!
3) Be grateful and express gratitude:
One of the best ways to be happier and joyful in life is to spend time writing down and thinking about the good things that have happened to you in your life and saying ‘thank you’ to all the people and companies that are a blessing in your life as often as possible! I always write thank you messages on my Facebook, I sometimes go out of my way to tell managers about the good service I receive from staff at shopping centres that I attend, I spend time praising God and worshipping him as he has done so many good things to is an for us! I believe in giving presents and sending cards! I am a very loving, caring and affectionate person and I think this has made me 10 times happier than most people because giving praise, love, gifts and affection only makes you feel good! It’s more blessed to give than to receive.
